Jason has a proven track record of providing strategic tax solutions that are practical and delivers value to his clients. He also regularly assists his clients with M&A, due diligence and cross-border joint venture tasks.

Anna Wijeyesinghe

Background & Experience

Anna Wijeyesinghe is a corporate accountant with over 25 years’ experience in the financial and accounting industry. Anna has worked with SMEs in both commerce and public practice, with experience in franchising, business planning, cashflows and valuations. 

Anna has acted as Financial Controller and Virtual CFO in a variety of businesses. She has managed and reviewed accounting and internal controls to implement policies and software systems within a number of organisations. She is proficient in tax advice, business advisory and accounting services.

Dr Pavel Reddy

Background & Experience

Dr Pavel Reddy holds a PhD in Biological Sciences and has lectured at three different tertiary institutions over a period of 18 years, simultaneously undertaking both personal and collaborative research in South Africa. He combines his extensive teaching and research experience with his knowledge of Research and Development Tax and the associated law, and enjoys bringing this unique combination of skills to the R&D Tax arena. He is passionate about working with companies across a diverse range of industries. These companies range from small start-ups to listed
multi-nationals.

He has been effective at establishing relationships with various stakeholders within companies to prepare and lodge R&D Tax Incentive claims that deliver maximum benefit to these companies within Australia.

More recently, he has had many opportunities to engage with many global entities – ranging from government departments, incubators and accelerators, and tech companies across multiple sectors. These are across the USA, China, UK, EU, Singapore, and South Korea.
His consulting experience spans many industry sectors, including Life Sciences, IT, Food and Beverage, Engineering, and Manufacturing.

Business Service Manager

Grant Patterson

Background & Experience

Grant has over 15 years’ experience providing accounting, taxation and business advisory services to a broad spectrum of clients ranging from high net worth individuals to SMEs and subsidiaries of foreign multinationals. He has a proven track record of providing strategic tax solutions that are practical and delivers value to his clients. He also regularly assists his clients with Accounting system design, Payroll systems, Budgeting and Cashflow management.

Grant began his career working for a city based chartered Accounting firm before moving into industry where he worked extensively within the corporate sector as a Company Accountant and then Finance Manager of several national organisations including the National Safety Council of Australia (NSCA) Ltd.

He then moved back into the Accounting profession and obtained membership of the Institute of Public Accountants in Australia. He has worked for Connect Advisors since inception and is dedicated to the success of the company. Grant’s experience is complemented by a Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University. Grant is also a certified Xero advisor.

Andy Li

Background & Experience

Andy Li is a CPA who has over 10 years extensive experience in business advisory, accounting, taxation, and financial reporting services. Andy is working with clients in a broad range of industries including wholesales, retails, property developers, constructions, and hospitalities. He is hands-on in supporting clients with intricate tax research and formulating strategic tax plans. Additionally, he takes a proactive approach in collaborating with clients in a pragmatic manner to ensure the fulfillment of all their needs.

Stuart Morey

Background & Experience

Stuart Morey is a Chartered Accountant with 8 years experience in public practice accounting.

He has experience working in business services, assisting clients with ongoing business advisory as well as with their regular accounting and tax compliance needs. Stuart has extensive experience advising clients on establishing and successfully running a self-managed superannuation fund. He also has ‘big 4’ tax consulting experience.

Stuart holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Economics) from Monash University and is a member of CAANZ (Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand). Stuart is also a Fellow of the Tax Institute and is a registered tax agent with the Tax Practitioners Board.

Karmen Chong

Background & Experience

Karmen is a CPA with over five years of experience in the dynamic field of accounting. She is also an experienced fund administrator. Her extensive experience spans across a diverse client base, including Managed Investment Scheme (MIS), SMSFs and large companies, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of various industries.

In her current role, Karmen specializes in preparing company financial statements, tax returns and business activity statements to guarantee timely compliance with tax obligations. Beyond this, she provides guidance and sound advice on the day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll management for clients, delivering optimal value to their businesses. Additionally, Karmen is also experienced in fund management and administration services, ensuring fund compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining the fund registers, and managing written correspondences to foster robust client relations. Her performance is marked by consistently outstanding results, making her an asset to any team or organization she serves.

Enza Colosimo

Background & Experience

Enza is an office administrator with over 5 years experience in the accounting industry and thrives on being able to offer comprehensive support to the team and our clients.

Organised and quick thinking, she will always ensure the best possible outcome from both service and administration aspects of our work. Enza regularly challenges herself to research and explore new and improved ways of executing her role and develop processes to ensure that we operate smoothly.

In her spare time Enza enjoys spending quality time with her family on the Mornington Peninsula.
